Game recap: Itawamba Agricultural High School Football Team wins against Center Hill

FULTON, Miss. - Itawamba Agricultural (Fulton, Miss.) grabbed the lead when they scored a defensive touchdown with 10:00 remaining in the fourth quarter and held on to defeat Center Hill (Olive Branch, Miss.) 31-21 on Saturday. The score was the final lead change in a back-and-forth contest that featured two lead swaps.

After nabbing the lead on a Kaelin Thomas touchdown run, the Mustangs went into halftime with a 21-14 lead. The Indians scored the winning points with a defensive touchdown that came in the fourth quarter.

The defeat comes as a step back for Center Hill, which notched a 23-6 victory over Byhalia in its previous outing. The victory was a step in the right direction for Itawamba Agricultural, which was coming off a 27-14 defeat at the hands of Saltillo in its previous game.
