Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only Pacelli walked away with it. They never let the McDonell Central Macks get on the board and left with a 3-0 win on Thursday. Winning may never get old, but the Cardinals sure are getting used to it with their eighth in a row.

Pacelli's victory bumped their record up to 30-1. As for McDonell Central, with the defeat, they broke their four-game winning streak and moved their record to 17-9.

Looking ahead, Pacelli will square off against Mishicot on Saturday. The two teams have allowed few runs on average (the Cardinals 0.5, the Indians 0.4) so any runs scored will be well earned. McDonell Central does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
