Soccer Game Preview: Hamshire-Fannett vs. Hargrave

Hamshire-Fannett is 1-9 against Hargrave since January of 2019 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Friday. The Hamshire-Fannett Longhorns are taking a road trip to square off against the Hargrave Falcons at 5:00 p.m. Neither squad made it on the board the last time they hit the pitch, so they've probably got a bit of extra motivation.

Hamshire-Fannett is headed into Friday's match looking for a big change in momentum after dropping their fourth straight game on Tuesday. They took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of Liberty.

Meanwhile, while the 0-0 score might suggest a draw, it was Hargrave who was credited with the victory on Tuesday. Hargrave got it done in the shootout by posting five goals to Livingston's four.

Hargrave's win bumped their record up to 4-6. As for Hamshire-Fannett, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-7.

Hamshire-Fannett might still be hurting after the 8-1 loss they got from Hargrave in their previous meeting back in February of 2024. That contest was all but decided by halftime, at which point Hamshire-Fannett was down 6-0.
