Volleyball Recap: Lanesboro Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Lanesboro was the 3-1 winner over Houston when they last played one another back in September of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Burros fell just short of the Hurricanes by a score of 3-2 on Tuesday. While the Burros didn't get the win, they did start the game off strong, beating the Hurricanes 25-18 in the first set.

Lanesboro came incredibly close to winning: the sets they lost were decided by three points or less. The match finished with set scores of 18-25, 25-22, 9-25, 25-23, 15-13.

Houston's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Cadence Koehler, who had 42 digs and two assists. With that strong performance, Koehler is now averaging an impressive 10.1 digs per game. Another player making a difference was Olivia Yohe, who had 19 digs, five kills, two aces, and one block.

Lanesboro's loss dropped their record down to 4-4. As for Houston, the win was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 7-9.
