Baseball Game Preview: Lewis Central Titans vs. Dallas Center-Grimes Mustangs

The Lewis Central Titans will face off against the Dallas Center-Grimes Mustangs at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Keep an eye on the score for this one: the two teams posted some lofty run totals in their previous games.

On Tuesday, Lewis Central got the win against Le Mars by a conclusive 13-1. Considering the Titans have won 17 contests by more than five runs this season, Tuesday's blowout was nothing new.

Meanwhile, Dallas Center-Grimes has relied on a stalwart pitchers averaging 3.97 runs allowed per game, but that average took a hit on Monday. They came out on top in a nail-biter against Johnston, sneaking past 12-10.

The victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 9.4 runs over those games.
