Basketball Recap: Harmony Science Academy Comes Up Short

Harmony Science Academy suffered their biggest defeat since December 3, 2024 on Tuesday. They lost 77-55 to the Bob Hope Eagles. While losing is never fun, the Tigers can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Texas basketball rankings (they are ranked 1363rd, while the Eagles are ranked 678th).

Harmony Science Academy has also traveled a rocky road recently having lost three of their last four games, which has put a noticeable dent in their 10-11 record this season. That patch can't be blamed on the team's offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 56.3 points over those games. As for Bob Hope, they pushed their record up to 21-4 with the win, which was their eighth straight at home.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. A feisty cat fight will be fought when the Tigers challenge the Lions at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Bob Hope, they will welcome Tekoa Academy at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
