Shane Marshall Delivers Best  Performance of Season
 Irwin County was led to victory by  Shane Marshall, who turned in his biggest game of the season  on Friday. Marshall rushed for 230 yards and two touchdowns on only 11 carries, and also picked up 59 receiving yards, good enough to  set a new career-high in  rushing yards in the process. His longest rush was for an impressive 68 yards, which helps to explain his lofty yards per carry total.
 The  win for Irwin County keeps them at an undefeated 7-0. Marshall's next  matchup is against Clinch County on Friday, where he'll look to repeat that solid  performance.

Big Game from Grant As Turner County Won 20-14
 Thanks in part to  Curtis Grant, Turner County said goodbye to their seven-game losing streak  dating back to last season. Grant was dynamite on Friday, rushing for 196 yards while picking up 10.9 yards per carry.
 Turner County's first  victory this season bumped their record up to 1-6. Grant and Turner County will head out to  face off against Crawford County  at 7:00  p.m.  on Thursday.

Irwin County Wins Seventh-Straight Thanks to  Jason Jackson
  Jason Jackson was instrumental in extending Irwin County's winning streak to seven on Friday. Jackson rushed for 162 yards and three touchdowns on only nine carries, good enough to  set a new career-high in  rushing yards in the process.
 This season,  Jackson  has run in 9 touchdowns while averaging 89.4 rushing yards per game. He's  made a big improvement compared to last season: at this point last year,  he was only averaging 39.29  rushing yards per game.

Junior Burrus Turns in Season-Best  Performance
  Junior Burrus produced his most outstanding game to date while leading Brooks County to the win  on Friday. Burrus threw for 280 yards and six touchdowns while completing 73.7% of his passes. Brooks County is 3-1 when  Burrus posts three or  more  passing touchdowns, but 1-2 otherwise.
 Brooks County's win was  their fifth straight on the road dating back to last season, which  pushed their record up to 4-3. Burrus and Brooks County will welcome Lanier County  at 7:30  p.m.  on Friday.

Luke Snyder Goes Supernova in Irwin County Victory
  Luke Snyder was instrumental in extending Irwin County's winning streak to seven on Friday. Snyder turned in nothing short of a gem, rushing for 60 yards and a touchdown on only six carries, while also throwing for 168 yards and a touchdown on only 12 passes.
 For the year,  Snyder  has thrown 11 touchdowns while averaging 104.7 passing yards per game. It gets even more impressive:  after seven games last season,  he had three  rushing touchdowns. This year he is already up to seven.
