Shelton can bid farewell to their four-game losing streak thanks to their game on Friday. They took their game with ease, bagging a 48-20 win over the Mountain View Thunder. The Highclimbers' offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most points they've scored all season.

Among those leading the charge was Ryan Brady, who threw for 158 yards and two TDs, and also rushed for 61 yards and one score.

Shelton didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off two passes before the game was over. The picks came courtesy of Sharkey French and Silas Hoff.

Shelton's victory was their first in the district, bumping their district record up to 1-2 and their overall record up to 2-5. As for Mountain View, they are on an eight-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-6.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming contests. Shelton will face off against Prairie at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Highclimbers will be up against the Falcons' rather soft defense (which has allowed 28 points per matchup), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance. As for Mountain View, they will take on Kelso at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
