Basketball Recap: Chloe Bentley's Big Game Can't Quite Lead Opp over Bullock County

Opp lost against Bullock County on January 7th and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Opp Bobcats fell to the Bullock County Hornets 46-41. The Bobcats just can't catch a break and have now endured three defeats in a row.

Opp's loss came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Chloe Bentley, who dropped a double-double on ten points and 13 boards. Those ten points gave Bentley a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Taylor Adams, who posted 13 points and three steals.

Opp's record is now 7-12. As for Bullock County, their victory ended a six-game drought on the road and puts them at 4-13.

Opp and New Brockton will face off at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday without much rest having both just played. Bullock County does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
