Volleyball Recap: Stow-Munroe Falls Gets the Win

While Stow-Munroe Falls's win against Roosevelt wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Bulldogs won by a set and slipped past the Rough Riders 3-2. The Bulldogs haven't had any issues with the Rough Riders recently, as the game was their eighth consecutive victory against them.

Stow-Munroe Falls was staring down a 2-1 deficit headed into the fourth set, but they rallied to take the next two for the win. The final score came out to 25-17, 25-27, 21-25, 25-22, 15-8.

Stow-Munroe Falls can attribute much of their success to Luke Hoskinson, who had 18 digs and one assist. That's the most digs Hoskinson has posted since back in March.

Stow-Munroe Falls' win bumped their record up to 4-6. As for Roosevelt, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 6-5.

Coincidentally, Stow-Munroe Falls and Roosevelt will both be playing Walsh Jesuit the next time they take the court. The Bulldogs will head out to face the Warriors at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, while the Rough Riders will head out to face them at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
