Bonner Springs kept up with Piper until halftime on Thursday, but afterwards: not so much. The Pirates put the hurt on the Braves with a sharp 4-1 victory. Piper might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won six matchups by three goals or more this season.

The win made it two in a row for Piper and bumps their season record up to 6-8-1. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored eight goals over those two contests. As for Bonner Springs, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 7-6-2.
