Basketball Recap: Montevallo Comes Up Short

Montevallo was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their 21st straight loss. They took a 39-32 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Westminster School at Oak Mountain Knights. If the Bulldogs were looking for revenge after losing 46-36 to them when the teams met, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Montevallo's defeat dropped their record down to 1-23. As for Westminster School at Oak Mountain, they are on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 9-6 record this season.

Montevallo won't have much time to rest: their next contest is against Bessemer City at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Westminster School at Oak Mountain does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
