Soccer Game Preview: Oakleaf vs. Fleming Island

Oakleaf is 1-8-1 against Fleming Island since December of 2016 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Tuesday. The Oakleaf Knights will be playing at home against the Fleming Island Golden Eagles at 7:20 p.m.

Oakleaf is headed in fresh off scoring the most goals they have all season. Everything went their way against Bishop Snyder on Friday as Oakleaf made off with a 6-1 victory. The high-scoring effort was just what the Knights needed considering they were shutout in their previous contest.

Meanwhile, Fleming Island hasn't lost a match since December 5, 2024, a trend which continued in their latest game on Wednesday. They and Bartram Trail finished up on equal footing with a 2-2 draw.

Blake Gaucher and Ryker Dailey scored both of Fleming Island's goals, bringing their combined season tally to 19 goals.

Oakleaf's win ended a five-game drought at home and bumped them up to 5-7-1. Fleming Island's draw gives them a new season record of 9-1-6.
