Meanwhile, Banning was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. They took a hard 48-34 fall against Narbonne.

Gardena's victory was their sixth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 13-12. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 56.8 points per game. As for Banning, their defeat dropped their record down to 10-15.
