Softball Recap: Cold Springs Takes a Loss

Cold Springs came into their game on Tuesday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They came up short against the Good Hope Raiders, falling 17-2. The loss continues a trend for the Eagles in their meetings with the Raiders: they've now lost three in a row.

Cold Springs' defeat dropped their record down to 8-12-1. As for Good Hope, they have been performing well recently as they've won ten of their last 12 contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 14-7-1 record this season.

Cold Springs will take on Fairview at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday. The Aggies will roll in looking for their fifth straight win, something the Eagles surely won't give up without a fight. Good Hope has already played their next match (against West Morgan), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
