Preview: Frost Polar Bears vs. Italy Gladiators
Frost is 1-9 against Italy since December of 2017 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Friday. The Frost Polar Bears will be playing in front of their home fans against the Italy Gladiators at 7:30 p.m. Frost will be strutting in after a win while Italy will be coming in after a defeat.
Frost had to endure a four-game losing streak, but that streak is no more. They managed a 59-55 win over Hamilton on Friday. Having run the score up that high, both teams might be doing some extra defensive drills very soon.
Meanwhile, things could have been worse for Italy, but they could have been a whole lot better as they took a 60-42 loss to Rio Vista on Tuesday.
Frost's win ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 10-16. As for Italy, they have been struggling recently, as they've lost three of their last four matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 15-11 record this season.
Frost took a serious blow against Italy when the teams last played back in February of 2022, falling 92-36. Will Frost have more luck at home instead of on the road? Check back here after the action for a full breakdown and analysis of the contest.
