Football Recap: Batavia Skates Past Greece Athena with Ease

Batavia won against Honeoye Falls-Lima last Friday with 41 points and they decided to stick to that point total again on Friday. The Blue Devils blew past the Greece Athena Trojans 41-13. The final result isn't all that surprising considering the Blue Devils' considerable advantage in MaxPreps' New York football rankings (they are ranked 161st, while the Trojans are ranked 348th).

Batavia has started the season off flawlessly and has a 2-0 record to show for it. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they've averaged 41.0 points this season. As for Greece Athena, their loss dropped their record down to 0-2.

Looking ahead, Batavia will face off against Cleveland Hill at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Greece Athena, they will head out on the road to square off against Greece Arcadia at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
