Basketball Recap: Baldwin Park Skates Past EF Academy with Ease

Baldwin Park strolled into their game on Monday with a perfect record and they left with the same. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat the EF Academy Hawks 59-29. The Braves have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won three matchups by 20 points or more this season.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Baldwin Park to victory, but perhaps none more so than Eric Avila, who went 6-for-14 on his way to 14 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Robert Gallardo, who posted ten points and five assists.

Baldwin Park was working as a unit and finished the game with 22 assists. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now racked up at least 20 assists in three consecutive contests.

Baldwin Park's victory bumped their record up to 4-0. As for EF Academy, they now have a losing record of 1-2.

Coming up, Baldwin Park and Charter Oak will face off at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday without much rest, having both just played. As for EF Academy, they will be playing in front of their home fans against SEED: LA at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday.
