Football Recap: Concord-Carlisle Skates Past Algonquin Regional with Ease

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Holliston, Concord-Carlisle was happy to have turned things around on Friday. They blew past the Algonquin Regional Titans 33-0. Considering the Patriots' offense had been struggling lately, the high-scoring outing was a much-needed turnaround.

Concord-Carlisle's first win this season bumped their record up to 1-2. As for Algonquin Regional, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 0-3.

Looking ahead, Concord-Carlisle is taking a road trip to face off against Waltham at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Algonquin Regional, they will host Franklin at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
