Baseball Recap: Timpson Comes Up Short

Timpson suffered their closest loss since March 12, 2024 on Friday. They fell just short of the Shelbyville Dragons by a score of 8-6. The defeat continues a trend for the Bears in their meetings with the Dragons: they've now lost five in a row.

Timpson's loss dropped their record down to 8-3. As for Shelbyville, they have been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 10-5-1 record this season.

Timpson will square off against Woden at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The two teams have allowed few runs on average (Timpson 3.4, Woden 3.8) so any runs scored will be well earned. As for Shelbyville, they will take on Joaquin at 6:05 p.m. on Tuesday. The last three games Joaquin has played have been within two runs, so don't be surprised if it's a close one.
