Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Frederick W). They took down Carroll Christian 55-40 on Friday. That's more bragging rights for the Warriors, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

When it comes to explaining why Carroll Christian lost, don't look at Joanna Mathews. Despite the final result, she posted 23 points. The matchup was Mathews' fifth in a row with at least ten points. Joelle Mathews was another key player, putting up 15 points.

The win was the third in a row for Frederick W, bringing their record for this year to 4-1. As for Carroll Christian, their loss ended an eight-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 3-2.
