Basketball Recap: Makelle Weber's Big Game Can't Quite Lead Farmington over Davis

Farmington lost against Davis back in January and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Farmington Phoenix took a 47-40 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Davis Darts.

Several Phoenix players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Makelle Weber, who posted nine points. Morgan Rogers was another key player, putting up eight points and eight rebounds.

Farmington dropped their record down to 10-11 with the loss, which was their third straight at home. As for Davis, they have been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six contests, which provided a nice bump to their 14-6 record this season.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Farmington will head out to face off against Syracuse at 5:15 p.m. on Friday. As for Davis, they are taking a road trip to take on Weber at 5:15 p.m. on Friday.
