Canton and Coventry squared off in some playoff action on Friday, but Canton had to settle for second. They came up short against the Patriots, falling 3-0. The Warriors' loss signaled the end of their four-game winning streak.

Coventry had a senior duo take command as Brooke White had 22 digs and Abigail Polo hit 70% for seven kills and 13 digs and nine aces. Polo is also on a roll when it comes to assists, as she's now posted 18 or more in each of the last 52 games she's played dating back to last season.

Canton's defeat dropped their record down to 16-8. As for Coventry, they are on a roll lately: they've won 16 of their last 17 matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 23-3 record this season.

As of now, neither Canton nor Coventry have any future games scheduled.
