Basketball Recap: Liberty HomeSchool Alliance Comes Up Short

Liberty HomeSchool Alliance suffered their closest loss since January 16, 2024 on Friday. They fell just short of the Altoona-Midway Jets by a score of 57-54. The Arrows have struggled against the Jets recently, as the game was their third consecutive lost matchup.

William Stackhouse continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines for Altoona-Midway, dropping a double-double with 16 points and 15 boards. Stackhouse is also on a roll when it comes to steals, as he's now grabbed two or more in each of the last 40 games he's played dating back to last season. Another player making a difference was Kage Beck, who went 6-for-10 on his way to 14 points and five rebounds.

Liberty HomeSchool Alliance's defeat dropped their record down to 11-4. As for Altoona-Midway, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 10-9.

Looking ahead, Liberty HomeSchool Alliance is taking a road trip to face off against Chanute Christian at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Altoona-Midway, they will welcome Chetopa at 2:00 p.m. on Friday.
