Basketball Game Preview: Chandler Prep Titans vs. Trivium Prep Crimson Knights

Having just played yesterday, the Chandler Prep Titans will head out on the road to face off against the Trivium Prep Crimson Knights at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Chandler Prep will be strutting in after a victory while Trivium Prep will be coming in after a loss.

Having struggled with 12 defeats in a row, Chandler Prep turned things around against Arete Prep on Tuesday. They secured a 56-52 W over the CHARGERS. The Titans' offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most points they've scored all season.

Meanwhile, Trivium Prep was beaten by North Valley Christian Academy 89-25 on Tuesday. While losing is never fun, the Crimson Knights can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Arizona basketball rankings (they are ranked 337th, while the Lions are ranked 109th).

Trivium Prep has been struggling recently as they've lost eight of their last nine contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-14 record this season. As for Chandler Prep, their win ended a five-game drought on the road and puts them at 2-16.

Chandler Prep was able to grind out a solid victory over Trivium Prep when the teams last played back in December of 2023, winning 52-44. Does Chandler Prep have another victory up their sleeve, or will Trivium Prep turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
