Softball Recap: Mt. Pleasant Takes a Loss

Mt. Pleasant was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their 14th straight defeat dating back to last season. They lost 12-0 to the Rogers Vikings. If the Kilties were looking for revenge after losing 14-3 to the Vikings when the teams met back in April of 2016, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Mt. Pleasant's loss dropped their record down to 0-4. As for Rogers, the win got them back to even at 2-2.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Mt. Pleasant is set to square off against their familiar foe Paul Cuffee at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. Meanwhile, Rogers will challenge rival Cranston East at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday.
