Volleyball Recap: Central Cabarrus Takes a Loss + How To Watch

After flying high against Harding University on Thursday, Central Cabarrus came back down to earth. The Vikings took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the A.L. Brown Wonders on Monday. The Vikings have struggled against the Wonders recently, as the game was their eighth consecutive lost matchup.

The 3-1 doesn't really show just how close this match was: all the sets Central Cabarrus lost were decided by three points or less. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-23, 25-23, 22-25, 28-26.

A.L. Brown was led to victory by Mady Baker and Kailey Riffle. Baker had ten digs, while Riffle had 25 digs and three aces. That's the most digs Baker has posted since back in September.

Central Cabarrus' defeat dropped their record down to 7-11. As for A.L. Brown, they now have a winning record of 12-11.

Central Cabarrus does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for A.L. Brown, they will be taking part in a tournament against Cox Mill at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
