Mt. Pleasant was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They lost 8-1 to the Woonsocket Villa Novans. Surprisingly, this marked Mt. Pleasant's fourth straight game in which the away team has come away the victor.

Mt. Pleasant's defeat dropped their record down to 2-8. As for Woonsocket, their victory bumped their record up to 3-5.

Mt. Pleasant didn't take long to hit the pitch again: they've already played their next match, a 7-0 loss against Tiverton on the 9th. As for Woonsocket, they will take on Hope at 4:15 p.m. on Tuesday.
