The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest points Seton Catholic Central has scored all season.
When it comes to explaining why Seton Catholic Central lost, one person who can't be blamed is Aiden Pearl. Despite the final result, he dropped a double-double on 12 points and 25 rebounds. That was a full 52.2% of Seton Catholic Central's points, marking the tenth time in a row he's earned more than a third of the team's points. The team also got some help courtesy of Evan Waldron, who scored four points along with two steals.
Seton Catholic Central's loss was their fourth straight at home, which bumped their record down to 1-11. As for Boquet Valley, the victory (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 11-1.
Seton Catholic Central will head out on the road to face off against Keene Central at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Keene Central has been dominant on offense recently, as they've racked up an incredible 414 points over their last six matchups. As for Boquet Valley, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Peru at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Peru will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps New York Rankings (they are ranked 694th, while Boquet Valley is ranked 248th).
