Basketball Recap: Tri County Area Takes a Loss

Tri County Area was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They had to suffer through a 60-33 loss at the hands of the Grant Tigers. Sadly, that's the second time they've come up short against the Vikings this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 47-34 back in December of 2024.

Tri County Area's defeat dropped their record down to 2-9. As for Grant, they have been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five games, which provided a massive bump to their 7-6 record this season.

Tri County Area will look to defend their home court on January 31st against Big Rapids at 5:30 p.m. As for Grant, they will challenge Chippewa Hills at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
