Volleyball Recap: St. Catherine's Comes Up Short

St. Catherine lost against South Milwaukee back in September of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Angels took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Rockets.

Jayda King paced St. Catherine's offense, picking up five kills. King got some help from Londyn Pardo and her ten assists. King was also a major player on defense: she and D'Asia Stacy shared the team lead in blocks, finishing with three each.

St. Catherine's defeat dropped their record down to 3-5. As for South Milwaukee, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 3-4.

Coincidentally, St. Catherine's and South Milwaukee will both be playing Wauwatosa West the next time they take the court. The Angels will head out to face the Trojans at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday, while the Rockets will play them later in the day, at 1:00 p.m.
