Basketball Recap: Bluestem Takes a Loss

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Bluestem can now relate to. They received a blow on Tuesday as they fell 59-40 to the Chase County Bulldogs. While losing is never fun, the Lions can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Kansas basketball rankings (they are ranked 202nd, while the Bulldogs are ranked 72nd).

Bluestem has also traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 14-10-1 record this season. The victory was the 11th in a row for Chase County, bringing their record for this year to 19-4.

As of now, neither Bluestem nor Chase County have any future games scheduled.
