Softball Recap: St. Pius X Takes a Loss

St. Pius X lost against Episcopal back in March of 2023, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The St. Pius X Panthers lost 12-5 to the Episcopal Knights. The Panthers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Abi Odom 2025 made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and scored two runs and stole a base while going 2-for-4. She also put up a home run, which was her first of the season.

Odom 2025 wasn't the only one working in the hit department: St. Pius X kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 14 hits. That's the most hits they've posted since back in April of 2024.

St. Pius X now has a losing record of 5-6-2. As for Episcopal, they pushed their record up to 7-2 with the win, which was their third straight on the road.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. A feisty cat fight will be fought as St. Pius X Panthers face off against St. John XXIII Lions at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. This will be St. John XXIII's first chance to prove their worth in the conference. As for Episcopal, they will take on Fort Bend Christian Academy at 4:30 p.m. on Friday.
