Basketball Recap: Clinton Victorious

Clinton won the last time they faced Brandon and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Arrows walked away with a 54-47 win over the Bulldogs. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Arrows.

Despite the loss, Brandon still got an impressive performance from Josiah Jackson, who went 8-for-16 en route to 18 points and eight rebounds. Jackson continues to improve, besting his previous point total in each of the last three games he's played. Lando Cavett was another key player, putting up six points along with 11 boards and five assists.

Clinton picked up their first home victory, bumping their record up to 2-4. As for Brandon, their defeat dropped their record down to an identical 2-4.

Looking ahead, Clinton will head out to take on Raymond at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. The Arrows will need to watch out since the Rangers have now posted at least 55 points every time they've taken the court this season. As for Brandon, they will be playing at home against Biloxi at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday.
