Oakland Mills won the last time they faced Atholton and things went their way on Friday too. The Scorpions simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat the Raiders 43-13. The Scorpions might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won seven contests by 30 points or more this season.

Despite the loss, Atholton still got an impressive performance from Tyler Bell, who rushed for 32 yards and one score, and also threw for 134 yards and one TD.

The victory made it two in a row for Oakland Mills and bumps their season record up to 7-1. Those wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 46.0 points over those games. As for Atholton, their loss dropped their record down to 5-3.

Looking ahead, Oakland Mills will square off against Howard at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. The two teams have allowed few points on average (the Scorpions 9.4, the Lions 12.6) so any points scored will be well earned. As for Atholton, they will take on Glenelg at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Gladiators will aim to continue their three-game streak of scoring more points each game than the last.
