While Tonopah Valley's win against Parker wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. Tonopah Valley sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 13-12 victory over Parker on Tuesday. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win the Phoenix have posted against the Broncs since April 6, 2021.

Morgan Green made a big impact while hitting and pitching. She looked comfortable on the mound, pitching three innings while giving up no earned runs off two hits. She has been consistent recently: she hasn't given up more than one earned run in three consecutive appearances. She was also big at the plate, scoring two runs while going 3-for-5.

In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Ellie Procunier, who scored two runs while going 3-for-4. She also hit a double, marking her first of the season. Another player making a difference was Mackenzie Eaton, who scored two runs while going 2-for-4.

The victory snapped Tonopah Valley's losing streak at three games and leaves them with a 3-3 record. As for Parker, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost four of their last five games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 2-6-1 record this season.

Tonopah Valley will host Yuma Catholic at 3:45 p.m. on Thursday. Yuma Catholic will roll in looking for their fifth straight win, something Tonopah Valley surely won't give up without a fight. As for Parker, they will take on Odyssey Institute at 3:45 p.m. on Friday.
