Carroll had already won four in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 24 points) and they went ahead and made it five on Friday. They came out on top in a nail-biter against the Richwood Rams, sneaking past 42-39. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 42-39 back in January.

Carroll's victory was their fourth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 13-13. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 60.8 points over those games. As for Richwood, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost seven of their last nine matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 11-14 record this season.

Carroll has already played their next game, a 63-14 loss against Wossman on the 8th. As for Richwood, they will square off against Sterlington at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
