After a string of four wins, Garfield's good fortune finally ran out on Thursday. They were beaten by the Paterson Charter School for Science and Technology Lions 67-39. The Boilermakers were probably out for revenge after losing 59-37 to them when the teams met back in January of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Garfield now has a losing record at 5-6. As for Paterson Charter School for Science and Technology, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 11-8.

Garfield has already played their next match (against Elmwood Park), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Paterson Charter School for Science and Technology will face off against Asbury Park at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday.
