After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Palatine, Glenbrook South was happy to have turned things around on Tuesday. They came out on top against the Evanston Wildkits by a score of 10-5. The Titans haven't had any issues with the Wildkits recently, as the game was their eighth consecutive win against them.

Addy Hurley made a big impact no matter where she played. She didn't allow a single earned run over seven innings pitched. Hurley was also solid in the batter's box, going 1-for-3 with three RBI, one triple, and one run.

In other batting news, Glenbrook South got a big performance out of Ruby Garrett, who went 3-for-4 with two RBI, one run, and one double. Another player making a difference was Sophia Buckingham, who went 1-for-2 with two runs and two RBI.

Glenbrook South was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .462. The last time their batting average was this high was back in April of 2024.

Glenbrook South's victory bumped their record up to 3-16. As for Evanston, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost seven of their last eight games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-10 record this season.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Glenbrook South will welcome Maine South at 4:45 p.m. on Thursday. The Titans' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Hawks have averaged an impressive 6.5 runs per game this season. As for Evanston, they will take on New Trier at 4:45 p.m. on Thursday. The Trevians will roll in looking for their eighth straight win, something the Wildkits surely won't give up without a fight.
