Baseball Recap: Sevastopol Find Success

Sevastopol took a seven-run defeat the last time they faced off against Southern Door, but this time they managed to keep it close and that made all the difference. The Pioneers won by a run and slipped past the Eagles 2-1. This was payback for the Pioneers, who suffered a 7-0 loss the last time these two teams met.

Andrew Wiesner spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: he surrendered only one earned run on four hits and racked up 13 Ks.

On the hitting side, Logan Schuh was excellent, going a perfect 2-for-2 with one run, one double, and one RBI.
