Soccer Recap: The Linsly School Takes a Loss

The Linsly School came into their game on Saturday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They came up short against the East Fairmont Bees, falling 5-0. The Linsly School were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as East Fairmont apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in October of 2022.

The Linsly School now has a losing record of 2-3. As for East Fairmont, their win bumped their record up to 4-0-1.

Looking ahead, The Linsly School will head out on the road to face off against Morgantown at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for East Fairmont, they will welcome Lincoln at 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday. East Fairmont will be up against Lincoln's rather soft defense (which has allowed 6.8 goals per matchup), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance.
