Basketball Recap: Newman Catholic Wins Going Away Against West Bend-Mallard

West Bend-Mallard typically has all the answers at home, but on Tuesday Newman Catholic proved too difficult a challenge. They enjoyed a cozy 56-41 win over the West Bend-Mallard Wolverines. This was payback for the Knights, who suffered a 64-60 loss the last time these two teams met.

The victory made it two in a row for Newman Catholic and bumps their season record up to 15-8. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 56.5 points over those games. As for West Bend-Mallard, their defeat dropped their record down to 17-7.

Looking ahead, Newman Catholic will venture away from home to take on St. Ansgar on Friday. St. Ansgar will roll in looking for their sixth straight win, something Newman Catholic surely won't give up without a fight. West Bend-Mallard does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
