Manual Arts had won six straight home games and Devin Moody did his part to make it seven on Thursday. The Manual Arts Toilers snuck past the Kennedy Cougars with a 59-54 victory thanks to Moody, who dropped a double-double with 30 points and 19 boards. He is on a roll when it comes to points, as he's now scored 16 or more in each of the last 48 games he's played dating back to last season.

Christian Flores was another key player, putting up seven points. That's the most points he has posted since back in December of 2024.

Manual Arts has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 12 of their last 13 contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 17-9 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 77.5 points over those games. This is the second loss in a row for Kennedy and nudges their season record down to 13-13.

Coming up, Manual Arts will take on Carson at 7:00 p.m. on Saturday. Carson has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games. Kennedy does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
