Basketball Game Preview: West Broward Bobcats vs. Somerset Academy Panthers + How To Watch

The West Broward Bobcats will take on the Somerset Academy Panthers at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Keep an eye on the score for this one: the two teams posted some lofty point totals in their previous games.

For some reason, the away team has come away with the win the last four times West Broward and Monarch have met, but the home crowd finally got their W on Tuesday. The Bobcats simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat the Knights 71-31. The Bobcats have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won three matchups by 28 points or more this season.

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Somerset Academy). They walked away with a 67-57 victory over Somerset Prep on Wednesday. The game was the first time the Panthers have beaten Somerset Prep on their court since December 9, 2015.

West Broward now has a winning record of 4-3. As for Somerset Academy, their win (their first of the season) made their record 1-4.

West Broward suffered a grim 83-62 defeat to Somerset Academy when the teams last played back in January. Can the Bobcats avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
