Basketball Recap: East Wilkes Makes It Six in a Row at Home

East Wilkes won against Starmount last Friday with 81 points and they decided to stick to that point total again on Monday. The East Wilkes Cardinals strolled past the Starmount Rams with points to spare, taking the game 81-63. The win was familiar territory for the Cardinals, who have now won three games in a row.

The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 69.0 points over those games. As for Starmount, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-22.

Looking ahead, East Wilkes and Mount Airy will face off at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday without much rest, having both just played.
