Basketball Recap: Central Virginia Disciples Comes Up Short

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Central Virginia Disciples can now relate to. They fell just short of the Loudoun County HomeSchool Patriots by a score of 34-32 on Saturday. The result was an unpleasant reminder to Central Virginia Disciples of the 34-29 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in February of 2020.

This is the second loss in a row for Central Virginia Disciples and nudges their season record down to 0-2. As for Loudoun County HomeSchool, they are on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 16-9 record this season.

Central Virginia Disciples does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Loudoun County HomeSchool, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 34-32 win against Central Virginia Homeschool Athletic Association on the 22nd.
