Football Recap: Lee Christian Comes Up Short + How To Watch

The Lee Christian Falcons were beaten by the Liberty Christian Academy Heat 55-8 on Friday. The Falcons have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Cayden Jennings threw for 75 yards and one touchdown. Jordan Wilson was his top target, picking up 65 receiving yards and one TD.

Liberty Christian Academy found their leader in sophomore Eddie Deptola, who rushed for 132 yards and three scores on only seven carries, and also threw for 73 yards and a pair of TDs. Those 132 rushing yards set a new season-high mark for Deptola. Logan Potting was in the mix too, providing Liberty Christian Academy with two touchdowns.

Lee Christian's defeat dropped their record down to 1-4. As for Liberty Christian Academy, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 3-2.
