The Memphis Academy of Science and Engineering Phoenix will head out on the road to face off against the Freedom Prep Academy Eagles at 5:30 p.m. on Monday. Keep an eye on the score for this one: the two teams posted some lofty run totals in their previous games.

Memphis Academy of Science and Engineering will bounce into Monday's match after beating Middle College, who they had gone 0-7 against in their seven prior meetings. The Phoenix came out on top against the Bulldogs by a score of 12-8 on Wednesday. The win was some much needed relief for the Phoenix as it spelled an end to their three-game losing streak.

Memphis Academy of Science and Engineering got a big performance out of Robert Bryant, who scored two runs and stole a base while going 2-for-2. Those two hits gave Bryant a new career-high. Kevin Shore also deserves some recognition as he scored his first run of the season.
