Preview: Wyndmere/Lidgerwood Warbirds vs. Richland Colts
Wyndmere/Lidgerwood is 1-6 against the Colts since February of 2017 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Thursday. The Wyndmere/Lidgerwood Warbirds will head out on the road to take on the Richland Colts at 7:00 p.m. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are closely ranked in North Dakota (Wyndmere/Lidgerwood is ranked 73rd, while the Colts are ranked 83rd).
Last Tuesday, Wyndmere/Lidgerwood came up short against the Rangers and fell 48-35.
Meanwhile, Richland pushed their score all the way to 58 on Monday, but even that wasn't enough to win. They fell just short of Oakes by a score of 60-58. Richland has not had much luck with the Tornadoes recently, as the team's come up short the last three times they've met.
Wyndmere/Lidgerwood has traveled a rocky road recently having lost six of their last eight games, which put a noticeable dent in their 9-8 record this season. As for Richland, they dropped their record down to 6-12 with that loss, which was their third straight on the road.
Wyndmere/Lidgerwood was able to grind out a solid win over the Colts in their previous matchup back in December of 2023, winning 52-40. Will Wyndmere/Lidgerwood repeat their success, or do the Colts have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
