League recap: Williams throws longest pass in league this season for St. Patrick-St. Vincent

Fans got a thrill when Anthony Williams and James Terrell connected against Moreau Catholic. The longest such play in Tri-County - Rock this season, the connection resulted in 86 yards.

Salesian scaled the state rankings by moving to 591 from 691 this week, the biggest jump in the league. The Pride climbed the ranks as a result of defeating Kennedy 42-6.

Hunter Lockhart was the best wideout in the league this week as Berean Christian fell to Mt. Diablo. Lockhart racked up 8 receptions for 157 yards.

Williams threw for 431 yards and 4 touchdowns. He was 26-40 with 4 interceptions.

Williams put up the best numbers through the air as St. Patrick-St. Vincent fell to the Mariners. Williams' favorite target this week was Terrell, who caught 4 passes for 118 yards.

Cole Temple was the best running back in Tri-County - Rock this week. In 11 carries, he ran for 72 yards as the Eagles lost to the Red Devils. Nick Ramos also contributed to the rushing game with 28 yards on the ground.

The Bruins' Williams and Terrell have formed a dream team this season, leading the league in both passing and receiving yards. Williams has thrown for 1,261 yards this season, while Terrell, a 5-foot-11 receiver, has 10 catches for 289 yards. Vince Volpatti from Valley Christian leads the league in rushing with 313 yards.

An important game coming up in the league this week will be when El Cerrito takes on the Vikings. At the moment, the Gauchos are in fifth, while Valley Christian is in third.

The league will see a high scoring game when St. Patrick-St. Vincent and Berean Christian face off this week. The top two offenses in the league, Brennan Marion's team comes in having scored 154 this season, while James Hodgins' team has scored 72. The Bruins scored 48 points last week as they fell to Moreau Catholic.

St. Mary's took down Albany 42-0 last week, the largest margin of any game.
